Restricted access mini piling
Engineered for difficult sites
Not every site is straightforward. Tight access routes, low headroom, weak or variable ground conditions, and existing structures can all make traditional piling impractical — or impossible. Our restricted access mini piling service is designed specifically for these challenges.

We install bottom-driven steel cased mini and micro piles using compact, tracked mini rigs and ground mat systems. This allows us to operate safely and efficiently within confined footprints, while maintaining the accuracy and load performance required for structural foundations.

Where ground conditions demand it, we employ advanced overburden drilling techniques, including ODEX and pre-drilled piling systems, as well as down-the-hole hammer methods. These approaches enable us to maintain bore stability through made ground, obstructions, or water-bearing strata, ensuring piles are installed to the required depth and specification.
For particularly restricted environments, we can pre-auger pile positions using sectional flight auger mini rigs or hand augers. This reduces disturbance to surrounding ground and structures, while allowing precise pile placement even in the most constrained locations.

Every solution is selected to suit the site — not the other way around. We assess access limitations, structural loads, and ground conditions in detail before recommending the most appropriate piling method. The result is a robust, buildable foundation system that works within real-world constraints and provides long-term structural confidence.
